Here at Frederick’s Premier College Prep High School, we’re dedicated to providing our students with an education that sets them up for success in the 21st century. We take pride in providing rigorous, hands-on learning opportunities to students and teaching them not just what they need to know but how they need to think. This is why both of our locations — one in Downtown Frederick and one in Clermont — offer a wide range of AP courses and an Honors program, which will give your child an edge as they apply to college or enter the workforce.
In addition to strong academics, we offer community service opportunities at both locations where students can share their gifts with people who need them most. Our Downtown location has adopted Square One, and our Clermont campus has adopted the Clermont Medical Center. These partnerships offer an invaluable opportunity for both students and benefactors alike, and we’re proud to be part of a school culture that’s committed to academic excellence and serving our community.
Our students are proud of their school, and, in turn, we’re proud to help prepare them to be proud of themselves. We can set our students up for success with the right tools and encouragement.
About Frederick’s Premier College Prep High School:
St John’s Catholic Prep is a public high school dedicated to providing students with the best educational opportunities in Maryland. Located on the Downtown Frederick campus, our high school offers students an education including AP courses, a rigorous Honors program, and other academic options such as Exploring Abroad and Model United Nations. Our Clermont campus is also home to another unique educational opportunity we call “Honor Codes.”
Honor Codes is a program where students can connect with and mentor younger students at our Clermont campus from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM every Thursday during the school year. This time together encourages both students to look into what it means to be an active member of a community, as well as teach younger students how to become better critical thinkers while allowing them to work with others who are enthusiastic about their own future successes.
The key to preparing students for success in the 21st century is providing opportunities that give them the tools they need and encourage them to pursue their passions.
